Dr. Ada Jones Davis was born July 19, 1940 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from Gibbs High School St. Petersburg, Florida in 1958. She was married in Goldsboro, North Carolina on September 8, 1962. They have been married for 46 years. Dr. Davis' academic credentials are impressive with degrees from several Colleges, Universities and Theological Seminary. Her Undergraduate degrees are from Alan Hancock College Santa Marie, CA; University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, Oklahoma; and Doctor of Divinity Degree from Cornerstone Theological Seminary, Jerusalem. Israel. For twelve years Dr. Ada Davis hosted “Praise the Lord,” a live television broadcast on Trinity Broadcasting Network, which seen bi-weekly. She and her husband hosted these programs for more than 12 years. She also was seen on their weekly television broadcast “Born Again to Win" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Doctor Davis is the Founder Director of Christian Women's Fellow, Women of Excellence, which is growing around the United States and abroad. New chapters are starting in Denver, CO, North Carolina, Hershey, PA and Nigeria, West Africa. CWF is known for its loving care and their development of young Christian women. Many women are going from a condition of hopelessness to a position of creative hope. Many have been heard leaving meetings, claiming, “I know I can make it now.” In 1990, Dr. Davis was selected by NBC as “Woman of the Eighties.” They looked at the activities of women across the country, identified Dr. Ada Davis’ contributions as exceptional, and included her as one of the outstanding Woman of the Eighties. Dr. Davis was the only African American selected for this award.

In May 1998 Dr. Davis' husband, was called to Pastor Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she is the Co-Pastor. In September 2003 the church changed its name to JOY Tabernacle Cathedral. Dr. Davis is the President of the Women's Ministry for World For Jesus, International Church Fellowship (WFJICF). There are over 6,352 churches from around the world that participates in WFJICF." Dr. Davis host tours to West Africa and the Holy Land (Israel) annually where they ministry to thousands and bring hope for a better life. Working in Ministry with her husband, Dr. Davis is the Director of "ONE FLESH MINISTRIES." This Marriage Ministry has assisted many couples, across the United States and abroad, to get their lives and their marriages "back into focus." They believe NOTHING should separate couples from their vow except death.

There is much more to Dr. Ada Jones Davis yet neither space nor time would permit more to elucidate this distinguished and intricate Woman of God.
